Report URI Documentation

Getting Started

Report URI is a real-time security monitoring platform that allows you to quickly and easily setup reporting for the latest browser security standards.

You can get started using Report URI with as little as 1 line of code or config and start receiving feedback directly from visitors to your site!

Check the Setup section for setup guides on the various standards we support.

Creating Your Account

Once you have created your account there are a few steps you need to take to ensure it is properly configured and ready to receive reports.

Activate

After signing up you will receive an email with an activation link. Clicking the link will activate your account and enable it to receive reports. Accounts that are not activated will not be able to receive reports.

Customise

By default you will be assigned a random subdomain to send your reports to, something like this https://jw84yfhskd73kwjdf.report-uri.com. These aren't very aesthetically pleasing and are also longer than you might wish, so we allow you to create your own custom subdomain to send reports to. Head to the Setup page and follow the steps to choose your own custom subdomain.

Filters

Before you start collecting reports you need to tell us which sites you'd like to collect reports for and what filters you would like applying. For most sites the default selection on the Filters page are generally good to go but you do need to provide us a list of which sites you'd like to collect reports from.

2FA

We strongly advise that you enable 2FA on your account and read our 2FA Help Page.
